This being a scheduled Public hearing the following items were presented
to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration:
Amendment, ISbill & Associates
Jack Lewis, County Manager, presented Amendment Number One to the
contract between Eagle County and Isbill and Associates.
Dan ReYnolds, Airport Manager, stated there will be design engineering,
contract administration and construction concerning the lights on the runway.
He stated the funds will come from the Capital Improvements Fund.
Chai:rrnan Phillips asked if there had been any complaints received
concerning lighting at the Airport.
Dan ReYnolds answered no.
Commissioner Gates asked if the lights go off after a certain period of
time.
Mr. ReYnolds stated the lights are pilot operated and stay on for only
fifteen (15) minutes.
Discussion continued on runway lights at the Eagle County Airport.
Commissioner Gates moved to approve the Amendment number one to the
contract between Eagle County and Isbill & Associates. The Chairman shall be
authorized to sign the Notice to Proceed.
commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. Commissioners Gates and
Phillips voting yes and Commissioner Johnson voting no.
Commissioner Jormson moved to award the contract to Schouten
Construction, Inc. The Chai:rman shall be authorized to sign the Notice to
Proceed.
Commissioner Gates seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
PD-312-94-F, Kodiak Park
Paul Clarkson, Planner, presented file number PD-312-94-F, Kodiak Park.
He requested this matter be tabled.
Commissioner Gates moved to table file number PD-312-94-F, Kodiak Park,
to a date uncertain.
Commissioner Jormson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
PD-293-94-F4, Cordillera, Filing 17
Sid Fox, Planning Manager, presented file number PD-293-94-F4,
Cordillera, Filin$ 17. He stated this is a request for final plat for
thirty-six (36) sln$le family lots. Staff recommended approval. Mr. Fox
stated the Subdivislon IIT1I?rovements Agreement is ready for approval and does
collateralize the public lmprovements.

Commissioner Gates moved to ap~rove and authorize the Chai:rrnan to sign
the final plat for Cordillera, Fillng 17.
commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
commissioner Johnson moved to authorize the Chai:rrnan to sign the
Subdivision Improvements Agreement for Cordillera, Filing 17.
Corrmissioner Gates seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
SU-117-94-AF, Aspen Mountain view
Ellie Caryl, Planner, presented file number SU-117-94-AF, Aspen Mountain
View. She requested this matter be tabled due to technical difficulties.
Commissioner Gates moved to table file number SU-117-94-AF, Aspen
Mountain View, to a date uncertain, due to technical corrections.
commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Plat & Resolution Signing
Ken Cunning, Planner, presented file number T-22-94, a Temporary Housing
Permit for Last Penny Ranch. He stated this application is for a caretakers
unit at Lot 9, Colorow Subdivision. Staff recommended approval with the
following condition:
01) the existing caretakers unit mpst be removed or the applicant
apply for a zone change from Resource Limited to Resource, prior to the
issuance of a Temporary Housing Permit. /
Commissioner Johnson moved to approve file n~er T-22-94, Temporary
Housing Permit for the Last Penny Ranch, with the conditions as stated by
Staff.
Commissioner Gates seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Patti Haefeli, Planner, presented file number SM-917-94, Minor Type B
Subdivision of Lot 26, Filing 2, Eagle-Vail. Staff recommends approval.
commissioner Gates moved to approve final plat file number SM-917-94,
Minor Type B Subdivision.
Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Patti Haefeli presented file number SM-915-94, Minor Type B Subdivision,
resubdi vision of the Future Development Area to accommodate twelve (12) new
townhouses. Staff recommended approval.
Corrmissioner Jormson moved to approve file number SM-915-94, Minor Type
B Subdivision incorparating Staff findin$s and recommendations.
Commissioner Gates seconded the motlon. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Patti Haefeli presented file number SM-913-94, The Chateau, Eighth
Supplement to the condominium map. Staff recommended approval.
Commissioner Gates moved to approve file number SM-913-94, The Chateau,
Eighth Supplement to the condominium Map, incorporating Staff findings and
recommendations.
Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
