HomeMy WebLinkAboutR02-084 Concerning Appointments to the Basalt Library District-~ • • Commissioner _ moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION N0.2002~~ RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE BASALT LIBRARY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 24-90-108 (c), the legislative body of the respective participating counties of the district shall appoint members to the library district board of trustees; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado desires to makes the appointment of Mary J. Roberts for one of the Eagle County representatives to the Basalt Library District Board of Trustees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, Mary J. Roberts be and is hereby appointed as a Eagle County Representative to the Basalt Library District Board of Trustees with a term to expire March 1, 2007. THAT, a copy of this Resolution be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado for their concurrence. THAT, the Board of County Commissioners finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado. • • MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Co inners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held thec~~ay of 2002.
