HomeMy WebLinkAboutR02-015 application for state highway access permit for Miller Ranch RoadM 0 n Commissioner moved adoption of the f lowing Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - Q/ 5� AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AN APPLICATION FOR A STATE HIGHWAY ACCESS PERMIT FOR MILLER RANCH ROAD WHEREAS, Eagle County (the "Applicant ") is required to submit an application for a State Highway Access Permit (the "Permit ") per the State Highway Access Code Volume 2, Code of Colorado Regulations 601 -1 (the "Code "); and WHEREAS, the Eagle County School District RE -50J has granted Eagle County the authority to act as the Applicant for the Permit; and WHEREAS, the Permit application concerns the intersection of Miller Ranch Road and Edwards Spur Road (I -70G); and WHEREAS, the Applicant is the developer of land served by Miller Ranch Road; and WHEREAS, the Applicant wants to have traffic generated by their development recognized as part of the Permit; and WHEREAS, Eagle County and the Eagle County School District RE -50J are the Property Owners and Permittee for the Berry Creek 5 Ranch Site; and WHEREAS, in order for a Permit Application to be submitted, the Property Owner must sign the application; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (the "Board "), decides how Eagle County Roads are to be used; and WHEREAS, the Eagle County Engineering Department recommends to the Board that it authorizes the Chairman of the Board to sign the application as Property Owner; and WHEREAS, the signature of the Chairman of the Board on the Permit application does not guarantee approval of the Permit. NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado: 1 n n THAT, the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the Chairman of the Board to sign the Permit application.
