of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2005- /21
TRANSFERRING AND DISTRIBUTING REVENUES FROM
THE COUNTY FOREST RESERVE FUND, FISCAL YEAR 2004
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (hereinafter "the Board"), has received the sum of $534, 177.3 7 for Fiscal Year 2004
pursuant to the provisions of the Act of Congress of May 23, 1908, relating to receipts from
National Forests; and
WHEREAS, the Treasurer of Eagle County has placed said revenues in a special County
fund designated as the "Forest Reserve Fund;" and
WHEREAS, the Board is directed by c.R.S. 930-29-101, to allocate the money received
from the State Treasurer pursuant to the provisions of said statute to the County Road and Bridge
Fund and the School Districts in Eagle County; and
WHEREAS, the County's portion of such funds was budgeted and appropriated to the
Road and Bridge Fund by the Annual Budget and Appropriation previously adopted for Fiscal
Year 2004; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Treasurer of Eagle County is requested and directed to transfer ninety-five
percent (95%) of the $534,177.37 received in Fiscal Year 2004 or $507,468.50, from the Forest
Reserve Fund to the County Road and Bridge Fund.
THAT, the Treasurer is further requested and directed to allocate the remaining five
percent (5%) of said $534,177.37 to each of the public school districts in Eagle County, as
follows: $21,922.64 to the RE-50J public school district in Eagle County, and $4,778.22 to the
Roaring Fork RE-1 public school district, and $8.01 to the West Grand District 1 public school
district.
THAT, the County Budget Officer is hereby directed to deliver a copy ofthis Resolution
to the Eagle County Treasurer and any other designated employees of Eagle County whose
duties include the transfer of funds.
THAT, the County Budget Officer is further directed to deliver an original or certified
copy of this Resolution to the Division of Local Governments, State of Colorado.
