THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
Use of Private Transportation by County Employees-

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, County of
Eagle, State of Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the "Board ",
has been monitoring for the past three months the gasoline and

usage levels by reason of the national gasoline and fuel shortage
(see attached statements); and
WHEREAS, at the present allocation and usage levels the
County will exhaust its reserve of gasoline and diesel fuels before

to consumption of the County's gas allocations; and
WHEREAS, all Eagle County employees have equal opportunity
to utilize car pool vehicles for County business;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners, County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT, in order to encourage employees to use their private
vehicles rather than County car pool vehicles thereby effecting con-
servation of County gas allocations and more availability for essen-
tial services use, an incentive payment of $1.50 for each twenty -five
