THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO

PERTAINING TO FINGERPRINT CARDS AND CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD IN CON-
NECTION WITH LIQUOR AND BEER LICENSES.
WHEREAS, the Colorado Liquor Code and the Colorado Beer Code
provide that no license shall be issued to or held by any person who
is not of good character and reputation satisfactory to the local li-
censing authority; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff of Eagle County is able and willing to
furnish information upon which the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle may determine the character and reputation of an appli-
cant for a license.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT, each applicant for a license under the Colorado Liquor
Code or the Colorado Beer Code shall make application for clearance
through the Office of the Sheriff of Eagle County by sumbitting a fin-
gerprint card printed by the Office of the Sheriff of Eagle County;
THAT, in the event an unreasonable delay of time has occurred
in the investigation of an applicant due to the submittal of the finger-
print card to the designated criminal justice agencies of the State of
Colorado and /or the United States Federal Government, the Office of the
Sheriff of Eagle County shall investigate the character and reputation
of the applicant by his /her criminal history record;
THAT, the Sheriff of Eagle County shall forward any information
relating to arrests, convictions, or any other adverse information of any
applicant to the Board of County Commissioners. After examining this in-
formation, the Board of County Commissioners shall determine the character
and reputation of the applicant with respect to the issuance of a liquor
license. Before an applicant is denied a liquor license by reason of his/
her reputation and character, that person shall be notified in writing of
any adverse information which the Board of County Commissioners receives,
