HomeMy WebLinkAboutR80-72 Appropriation of Unanticipated RevenuesRESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 80 - ` �9�52, SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF UNANTICIPATED REVENUES WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, County of Eagle, State of Colorado, has identified that the Road and Bridge Budget for 1980 will be overspent unless additional monies are made available; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners recognizes that the overexpenditures are a result of higher than anticipated repair supplies and tire costs; construction of Lake Creek Bridge, a 1979 budgeted expense, in 1980; final payments on the Dowd Junction Shop, a 1979 budgeted expense in 1980; and payments for thermolay trucks, a 1979 budgeted expense in 1980; and WHEREAS, the Road and Bridge Fund Balance at the end of 1979 was $321,033 more than anticipated partially because of the aforementioned 1979 unexpended but approved projects; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has also recognized the receipt of $20,000 in unanticipated revenues from the Bureau of Reclamation for maintenance of the road above Ruedi Resevoir; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners also recognizes that $10,000 in unanticipated miscellaneous revenues primarily from fuel payments from other County Departments; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to keep the Road and Bridge budget in balance. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the following supplemental appropriations be made from the aforementioned unanticipated revenues: I. From unanticipated year end excess to the Construction Budget: $55,553 to cover cost of Lake Creek Bridge Project. 11,820 to cover final costs of Dowd Junction Shop. 18,010 to cover apportioned cost of Thermolay Trucks. t II. From unanticipated Bureau of Reclamation revenues and unanticipated miscellaneous revenues to the Maintenance of Condition Budget. $30,000 to cover higher than anticipated repair supply and tire costs. III. From unanticipated year end excess to the Snow and Ice Removal Budget. $14,140 to cover apportioned cost of Thermolay Trucks. THAT, the Administrative Assistant is hereby requested and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to all affected County Departments and offices and to the Officer of the County whose duty is to draw warrants or orders for the payment of money; THAT, the Administrative Assistant is hereby requested and directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution with the Division of Local Governments in the Department of Local Affairs. THAT, the Board finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado. MOVED, READ AND UNANIMOUSLY adopted at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, County of Eagle, State of Colorado, held this day of 1930.
