Whereas, the 14ountain Rivers Abuse Task 1,orce operates a facility in New Castle
Colorado. There are seven beds: 5 detox and 2 half way house. The facility is
managed by Mr. Bernheimer. and serves Garfield, Pitkin, and Eagle counties. bur.
Bernheimer has requested a contribution from the county.
Be it resolved that for the fiscal year 1978 the Plountain Rivers .Abuse Task
Force will receive payment from Nagle county under the following circumstances.
If an Eagle county resident, from an unincorporated area, enters
the facility, all means of payment i'or his stay are to explored and
pursued. The remaining unpaid portion of the bill will be paid by
Eagle county.
The county will pay on a client for client basis, up to a maximum
(for all clients) of $400 for the first six months and $400 for the
second six months.
