HomeMy WebLinkAboutR82-091 zone district amendment Floyd CrawfordRESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION No. 82 -G% / ZONE DISTRICT AMENDMENT - Floyd Crawford File No. - ZC- 167 -82 WHEREAS, Floyd Crawford did file an application with the Eagle County Department of Community Development on or about March 1, 1982 , to rezone the herein described property in Eagle County from Resource Zone District to Residential Suburban Medium Densit Zone District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, on September 29, 198 2 ; and WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exhibits, study of the Master Plan for the unincorporated areas of Eagle County, comments of the Eagle County Department of Community Development, comments of public officials and agencies, the recommendation of the Eagle County Planning Commission, and comments from all interested parties, this Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, finds as follows: 1. That proper publication and public notice was provided as required by law for the hearing before the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners. 2. That the proposed zoning is consistent with the Master Plan. 3. That the area in question possess the geological, physical and other environmental conditions compatible with the characteristics of the use requested. 4. That the advantages of the use requested outweigh the disadvantages. 5. That the proposed rezoning is necessary in order to provide land for a demonstrated community need. 6. That for the above stated reasons, the proposed zoning is in the best interest of the health, safety, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Eagle County, Colorado. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado: THAT the petition of Floyd Crawford , file number ZC- 167 -82 from Resource Medium Densi , for a zoning amendment to change Zone District to Residential Suburban Zone District be and is hereby approved for the following described property located in the unin- corporated area of Eagle County: A parcel of land located in Lots 9, 10, 14, and 15 of Section 34, Township 7 South, Range 87 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, all in Eagle County, Colorado; said parcel being more particularly de- scribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the Southerly Line of the Robinson Ditch and a fence line intersection from which the Southwest Corner of said Section 34 bears S. 75 605108 "W. 3213.70 feet distant; thence along the Southerly Line of Robinson Ditch N.87 007128 "W 1393.55 feet; thence N.00 °22'32 "E. 425.00 feet; thence 5.87 007128 "E. 1294.12 feet; thence along an existing fence line S. 12 °39106 "E. 440.68 feet to the point of beginning. Said parcel contains 13.10 acres, more or less. THAT the Board of County Commissioners directs the Director of the Department of Community Development to enter this amendment on the appropriate page of the Official District Map and record the change in the office of the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder. 2 I« MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its meeting held the 12th day of October 19 82 , nunc pro tunc to 29th day of September , 19 82 .
