RESOLUTION
OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 82-?&
ZONE DISTRICT AMENDMENT - Industrial ± 15.6 acres
File No. - ZC- 169 -82 (in part)
WHEREAS, Basalt Trade Associates did file an application
with the Eagle County Department of Community Development on
or about June 1, 1982, to rezone the herein described property
in Eagle County from Resource Zone District to Industrial
Zone District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, on
September 13, 1982; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exhibits,
study of the Master Plan for the unincorporated areas of
Eagle County, comments of public officials and agencies, the
recommendation of the Eagle County Planning Commission, and
comments from all interested parties, this Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
finds as follows:
1. That proper publication and public notice was
provided as required by law for the hearing before the
Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.
2. That the proposed zoning is consistent with the
Master Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT the petition of Basalt Trade Associates, file
number ZC- 169 -82, for a zoning amendment to change from
Resource Zone District to Industrial Zone District be and

is hereby approved for the following described property
located in the unincorporated area of Eagle County:
INDUSTRIAL
A parcel of land located in Tract 52 of Section 11,
Township 8 South, Range 87 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian, County of Eagle, State of Colorado according
to the Independent Resurvey of said Township and Range
as approved by the U. S. Surveyor General in Denver,
Colorado on August 25, 1927; said parcel being more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point from which an existing brass cap
minmuent propertly marking a Witness Corner to Corner No. 3
of Tract 52 bears S. 44 047119 "Vi. 2130.15 feet distant;
thence 5.89 043100 "E. 412.00 feet along the approximate
Southerly Line of a parcel of land as described in Book 217
at Page 986 of the Eagle County Records; thence along the
approximate Westerly Line of a parcel of land as described
in Book 246 at Page 426 of the Eagle County Records the
following three (3) courses and distances:

thence departing said parcel 5.82 026145 "W. 298.77 feet; thence
5.00 051145 11W. 358.08 feet to a point on the approximate
Northerly Right -of -Way Boundary Line of Eagle County Road
S -3c; thence along said Northerly Line N.89 °08115 "W. 265.00
feet; thence along the approximate Easterly Line of a parcel
as described in Book 225 at Page 847 of the Eagle County
Records N.05 °28107 "W. 667.43 feet; thence N.85 006135 "W.
250.61 feet; thence along the Easterly Line of the Basalt
Industrial Park the following two (2) courses and distances:

Said parcel contains 15.6209 acres, more or less.
THAT the Board of County Commissioners directs the Director
of Community Development to enter this amendment on the appropriate

Office of the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder.
