A DESIGNATED ACTIVITY OF STATE INTEREST

TO ENGAGE IN DEVELOPMENT IN A
DESIGNATED AREA OF STATE INTEREST
IN
THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
Pursuant to the Guidelines and Regulations for Areas
and Activities of State Interest of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado, 1980, as amended, heretofore adopted by
the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle,
Colorado, the Eagle County Permit Authority has received an
application from Marjorie Elliott, hereinafter referred to as
the "Applicant ", for a permit involving the following
activity of State interest:
Site selection and construction of
a major new domestic water and sewage
treatment system,
and the Eagle County Permit Authority hereby approves said
application.
This permit authorizes the Applicant:
1. To construct the proposed water supply and sewage
treatment system as set forth in the Applicant's application
submitted to the Eagle County Permit Authority on March 2,
1982, for the purpose of serving a camper park, 35 RV /Trailer
sites, 13 tent sites, convenience shop and gas pumps;

2. On a tract of land commonly referred to as the
Elliott Ranch or Bend in the River Ranch Campground located
2 -1/2 miles northwest of the Bond area along State Highway
No. 131 and the Colorado River in the unincorporated
territory of the County of Eagle, Colorado, and more
particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land located in Tract 45, Sections 5
and 8, Township 2 South, Range 83 West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian according to the Independent Resurvey
of said Township and Range as approved on April 30,
1918; said parcel of land being more particularly
described, with all bearings herein being based on
the platted bearing of the line between Corner No. 2
of Tract 44 located in Sections 6 and 7 of said
Township and Range and Corner No. 1 of said Tract
45, which is West, as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the North Line of said
Tract 45 and the high water line of the Northeasterly
Bank of the Colorado River; thence along said North
Line N.89 °55'46 "E. 32.16 feet to Corner No. 6 of
Tract 39 said tract being located in Sections 5, 6,
7 and 8 of said Township and Range; thence continuing
along said North Line S.89 °54'55 "E. 202.38 feet to a
point on the Westerly Right -of -Way Boundary of the
Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad; thence along
said Boundary the following five (5) courses:

feet to a point on the high water line of the North-
easterly Bank of the Colorado River as it now exists;
thence along said high water line the following two
(2) courses and distances:
1) N.24 °12'43 "W. 52.37 feet
2) N.35 °58'08 "W. 18.21 feet
to the point of beginning.
Said parcel of land contains 45.1784 acres, more
or less.
Subject, however, to easements and rights -of -way
for roads, highways, railroads, ditches and utilities
of record or as same exist.
3. For the following period: to commence upon
receipt by the Eagle County Permit Authority of written
approval from the State of Colorado Department of Health,
Water Quality Control Division, relative to the Applicant's
proposed project, and to continue therefrom for one year.
4. In accordance with the plans and /or
specifications approved by the Permit Authority on the 28th
day of April, 1982, as well as the Guidelines and Regulations
for Areas and Activities of State Interest of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado, 1980, as amended, adopted by Eagle
County for: site selection and construction of a major new
domestic water and sewage treatment system.
5. On the condition that the Applicant proceeds in
conformity with all applicable Federal and State Statutes and
Regulations as well as all applicable local land use controls
including, but not limited to, master plans, subdivision
regulations, zoning ordinance and building code.
This permit shall not be effective until: the
Applicant has submitted written proof to the Eagle County
Permit Authority that the State of Colorado Department of
Health, Water Quality Control Division, has approved the
proposed water and sewage treatment system which is the

subject of this permit.
This permit is valid for use only by the Applicant and
may not be transferred. In the event that the Applicant
fails to take substantial steps to initiate the above
development of activity within twelve (12) months from the
date of this permit, or, if such steps are taken, in the
event the Applicant fails to complete the development or
activity with reasonable diligence, this permit may be
revoked by the Permit Authority.
