BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION No. 82-4,5Z
CONCERNING SALARIES OF CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, hereinafter referred to
as "Board," is authorized pursuant to § 30 -2 -102, C.R.S.
1973, as amended, to increase or decrease within statutory
limits the salaries of the County Assessor, County Clerk and
Recorder, County Sheriff, County Treasurer, and County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, as more specifically
described in said statute; and
WHEREAS, the Board met with the aforesaid elected
officials on April 15, 1982, and based thereon, found, deter-
mined and declared that it would be in the best interest of
the County of Eagle to increase the salaries of the elected
officials of the County of Eagle named above by fifteen (15)
percent of the amount specified in § 30 -2 -102, C.R.S. 19730
as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, as
follows:
THAT, the annual salaries set forth for the County
Assessor, County Clerk and Recorder, County Sheriff, County
Treasurer, and County Commissioners of the County of Eagle
in § 30 -2 -102, C.R.S. 1973, as amended, be and are hereby
increased by fifteen (15) percent; provided, however, that none
of the affected elected County officers of the County of Eagle
shall have their respective compensation increased during the
terms of office to which they have been elected or appointed.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines.and declares
that this Resolution is necessary for the public health,
welfare and safety of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND UNANIMOUSLY adopted by the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
at a regular meeting held the --% day of April, 1982.
