BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 93-
AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF THE
SERVICE PLAN
FOR
CORDILLERA METROPOLITAN DISTRICT
WHEREAS, a Service Plan, supplemental documents and a
processing fee have been filed relating to the proposed Cordillera
Metropolitan District, in Eagle county, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County
received the Service Plan at the regular meeting of the Board held
on May 3, 1993 at which time the Board referred the Service Plan to
the Eagle County Planning Commission for review and recommendation
at the June 2, 1993 regular meeting of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met in regular session on
June 2, 1993 for consideration of the Service Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has presented its findings on
the Service Plan to the Board of County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, this regular meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held on June 15, 1993 is not less than ten days
following the final Planning Commission action on the Service Plan;
and
WHEREAS, the law requires that a Hearing be called and held
within thirty (30) days concerning the adequacy of said Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
Section 1 . That a Hearing on the Service Plan, as filed, for
the proposed Cordillera Metropolitan District, be and the same is
hereby set for 3:15 o'clock p.m., in the Commissioners Hearing
Room, in the Eagle County Building, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado,
the regular meeting place of the Board of County Commissioners, on
Tuesday, the 6th day of July, 1993.

Section 2 . That the Notice of Hearing shall be published in
The Eagle Valley Enterprise a newspaper of general circulation
within the County, once each week for a period of three consecutive
weeks, by three publications, the first of which shall be at least
twenty (20) days prior to the date of Hearing.
Section 3 . That any printing of such Notice prior to the date
of this Resolution is hereby ratified.
Section 4 . That written Notice of the Hearing shall be
provided to the Petitioners, the Division of Local Government, and
to the governing body of any existing municipality or special
district which has levied an ad valorem tax within the next
preceding tax year and which has boundaries within a radius of
three (3) miles of the proposed district.
Section 5 . That said Notice shall be in substantially the
form as attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein.
Section 6 . That all resolutions, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 7 . That this Resolution, immediately upon its
passage, shall be recorded in the Book of Resolutions of the County
kept for that purpose and shall be authenticated by the signatures
of the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners and the County
Clerk and Recorder.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners

NOTICE OF HEARING
IN RE THE ORGANIZATION OF CORDILLERA METROPOLITAN DISTRICT, EAGLE
COUNTY, COLORADO
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there were filed with
the County Clerk and Recorder of Eagle County, Colorado, a Service
Plan and related documents for the proposed Cordillera Metropolitan
District. The Service Plan and related documents are now on file
in the Office of the County Clerk and Recorder and are available
for public inspection.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that by Order of the County
Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado, a public Hearing on said
Service Plan and related documents will be held in the
Commissioners Hearing Room, in the Eagle County Building, 500
Broadway, Eagle, Colorado, at 3:15 o'clock p.m., on Tuesday, the
6th day of July, 1993.
The purpose of the Hearing shall be to consider the
adequacy of the Service Plan of the proposed Cordillera
Metropolitan District and to form a basis for adopting a Resolution
approving, conditionally approving, or disapproving the Service
Plan.
The proposed District is located entirely within Eagle
County, Colorado, and is described as follows:
EASTERN PARCEL - All lands within Cordillera Subdivision,
Filings No. 1 and No. 2, according to the Amended Final
Plat thereof, Cordillera Subdivision Filing No. 3 and
Filing No. 4, according to the Final Plats thereof, as
found in the Eagle County Records, State of Colorado.
Excepting therefrom Tract A, Cordillera Subdivision,
Filings No. 1 and No. 2 and No. 3 according to the Final
Plats thereof as found in the Eagle County Records, State
of Colorado. (977 acres)
WESTERN PARCEL - All lands within Tracts 48, 51, 53, 54,
55, 62, 63, and 73 according to the Independent Resurvey
of Township 5 South, Range 83 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian as approved June 20, 1992, Eagle County, State
of Colorado, also known as the Fenno Ranch Parcel.
Excepting therefrom two parcels known as the First
Castille Exchange Parcel and the Second Castille Exchange
Parcel. (1274 acres)
NORTHERN PARCEL - All lands within Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 11,
12, and 13 of Section 1, Township 5 South, Range 83 West
of the Sixth Principal Meridian, according to the
Supplemental Plat of Independent Resurvey thereof, as
approved June 20, 1922, County of Eagle, State of
Colorado. (183 acres)
SOUTHERN PARCEL - All lands lying in Lots 1, 8, 9, 10,
11, 12, 21, 22, and 23 of Section 12, Lots 1, 2, 4, 7, 9,
12, 13, 14, and 15 of Section 13, Township 5 South, Range
83 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, according to the
Supplemental Plat of the Independent Resurvey thereof, as
approved June 20, 1922, Eagle County, State of Colorado.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 330 feet of said Lots 1,
13, and 14 of Section 13, Colorow Subdivision and Pilgrim
Downs - Phase II according to the Final Plats thereof as
found in the Eagle County Records, State of Colorado.

CHAVENO PARCEL - All lands within the Chaveno Subdivision
according to the Final Plat thereof, as recorded in Eagle
County, State of Colorado. Excepting therefrom Lot 10,
East Squaw Creek P.U.D. according to the Final Plat
thereof, as recorded in Eagle County, State of Colorado.

BEATTY PARCEL - All lands South and East of the South
Right -of -Way Boundary for Squaw Creek Road that lie
within Tract 37 of Sections 1 and 2 and Lot 7 of Section
2, Township 5 South, Range 83 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian according to the Supplemental Plat of the
Independent Resurvey thereof, as approved on June 20,
1922, Eagle County, State of Colorado. (107 acres)
EAST SQUAW CREEK PARCEL - Tract C, East Squaw Creek
P.U.D. according to the Final Plat thereof as found in
the Eagle County Records, State of Colorado. (20 acres)
The above described Lands contain 3211 acres, more or
less.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to Section 32 -1-
203(3.5), C.R.S., as amended, no later than ten days prior to the
hearing on the Service Plan, the owner of real property within the
proposed Cordillera Metropolitan District may file a petition with
the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County requesting that
such real property be excluded from the proposed District. The
Board of County Commissioners shall not be limited in its action
with respect to the exclusion of property based upon such request.

Any request for exclusion shall be acted upon before final action
of the Board of County Commissioners concerning approval of the
Service Plan.
