BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 029
RESOLUTION APPOINTING
THE EAGLE COUNTY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado (hereinafter" the Board") adopted its Annual Appointments Resolution
(Resolution 2024-007), in which the Board appointed Beth Oliver the Interim Eagle County
Attorney; and
WHEREAS, after advertising the position, receiving applications and interviewing interested
candidates, the Board now desires to appoint the Eagle County Attorney pursuant to C.R.S. § 30-
11-118; and
WHEREAS,the following appointment does not constitute contractual obligations of the County
of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally bound for any term of
appointment and the County,by and through the Board, has the authority, in its sole discretion, to
change, terminate or revoke such appointment and to fill vacancies, therefore, as it sees fit.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, in accordance with C.R.S. § 30-11-118, Beth Oliver be and is hereby appointed as the
Eagle County Attorney.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the
public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
