RE: Issuance of Individual Sewage Disposal System Permit #2186-02. Tax Parcel

Enclosed is your ISDS Permit #2186-02. Please obtain a field copy of the engineer design
stipulated on the permit from the engineer. It is valid for 120 days, or for the duration of your
current building permit for this property. The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the
installation site. Any changes in plans or specifications invalidates the permit unless
otherwise approved. Please note any special requirements that may have been added to the
design by this department.
Systems designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be certified by the Engineer
indicating that the system was installed as specified. Eagle County Environmental Health
must also view the installation prior to back filling. Please call well in advance for your
final inspection. Your TCO will not be issued until our office receives this certification
from the engineer, and views the installation.
Permit specifications are minimum requirements only, and should be brought to the property
owner's attention.
This permit does not indicate conformance with other Eagle County requirements. Please
notify this office if you have not been contracted to perform this installation.

At the request of Jack Baskins, on April 2% 2003, we visited th p onsstruct our site n Lo w9Red
Mountain Ranch, 21900 U.S.1tli&way 6, Eagle County, Colorado. The
to
observe the installation of the septic system.
They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No.
202398D.DWG, dated September 17, 2002. They installed a 1000-gallon, three compartments, precast, a
coacrete, septic tank. In the last compartment of the septic tank, they installed a Goulds Model 3871
Pump. 'Each of the three access openings, had three, one -foot risers on it. We recommeaded that the riser
over the conipartment with the pump be replaced with a cone -shaped riser for ease of maintenance for the
pump. Building sewer lines were connected to the septic tank from four locations on the building. Two
from the garage wing, one, south from the maim entry and one north from it, as shown, on the attached as -
built sketch. Cleanouts were installed at each exit point near the house as shown on the sketch. The
effluent line from the pump tank to the first infiltrator of the tap trench was a total distance of 235 feet.
The effluent line was 3-inch diameter sch40 pve. The pump was sized to have four doses with 169
gallons per close. The dosing, the floats function anal the alarms will be tested by at a later date and a
letter will be submitted to us. Based on Jack Baskins the alarm was installed in the garage.
Tatty -nine, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in three trenches, as shown on the
attached sketch. The trench closest to ITi&WaY 6 had nine infiltrators and it had a perforated pipe
suspended from the top of the chambers, the next trench had I I and the lowest trench had 9 i nflltrators.
The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution(. In the first and last infiltrator of each trench,
inspection ports were installed. Horizontal distance :from center to center of the trenches, was 10 feet or
more. The depth of the trenches was no more than 36 inches,
