The pwpose of our site visits was to observe the installation of the septic system. They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No. 20198SD.DWG, dated November 15, 2000. They installed a 1000-gallon, three compartmeuts, a precast, concrete septic tank. In the last compartment of the septic tank, was a Zoeller pump, Model 264. The tank had three access openings, one over each of the compartments. The effluent line from the pump tank to the first infiltrator of the leaohfield wass.a total distance of 166 feet, The effluent line was 24nch diameter sch40 pvc. The pump was sized to have 169 gallons per dose. The dosing, the floats function and the alarms were tested by Bill Stenson. The alarm was to be installed in the downstairs hallway. Forty-eight, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in three trenches. Each roar of trenches contained sixteen infiltrators. The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution. Ira the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection parts were installed. In addition, in the first row of trenches, 2 sticks of perforated, sch200 pvc, were suspended from the top of the infiltrators. Horizontal distance from center to center of the trenches, was 9 feet or more. All piping 'wa.s sch40, 4-inch PVC. The depth of the trenches was no more than 36 inches.
