Box 1200 Eagle, Colorado 81631 Job No. 199 760 Subject: Percolation Testing, Proposed Septic Disposal System, Parcel, E, Brush Creek Stables, East of Eagle Ranch, South of Brush Creek, Eagle County, Colorado. Dear Mr. Evancho: As requested, we have conducted percolation testing at the subject site to evaluate the feasibility of an infiltration septic disposal system. The results of our work are presented in this report. The work was done in accordance with our agreement for professional services to you dated September 23, 1999. A profile pit was excavated with a backhoe and 3 percolation holes were hand dug at the locations shown on Fig.1. Percolation test holes (about 8 inches in diameter and 2 feet deep) were hand dug and soaked by the client one day prior to testing. The soils exposed in the profile pit consist of about 2 feet of topsoil and clayoverlying verlying medium dense silty sand andgraueLwit co lam. No free water was encountered in the pit and the subsoils were slightly moist to moist. Percolation tests were performed on September 24, 1999 by a representative of Hepworth-Pawlak Geotechnical, Inc. The percolation test results are presented on Table I. The percolation test results indicate on infiltration rate between 5 and 9 minutes per inch with an average rate for the three tests of 8 minutes per inch. If you have any questions or if we can be of further assistance, please call our office. Sincerely. HEPWORTH-PAWLAK G L, INC. Daniel E.
