Petrovska P.E. The system is designed to serve a two bedroom single family residence. The OWTS consists of a 1,000 gallon three compartment Valley Precast septic tank with a 1,500 gallon total effective volume (Item #1000T-3CP-F-D3), equipped with a dosing siphon in the third compartment, and and effluent filter in the tee between the second and third compartment. Set the dosing float to pressure dose 181.80 gallons approximately 92 feet to a soil treatment area consisting of two equal trenches each with 19 Infiltrator Quick4 Plus Standard chambers set atop two feet of secondary sand filter media. Clear and rake trench sidewalls and bottoms to prevent smearing, immediately prior to placement of aggregate sand. Construction must only be started when the soil site is suitably dry. Maintain all elevations as shown of the engineer's site plan. Contact the design engineer and Eagle County Environmental Health well in advance to conduct of requesting inspections. All inspections necessary to certify proper installation must be performed by the design engineer. System certification along with photos and a record drawing are required to be submitted to, and approved by, Eagle County Environmental Health prior to the use of the system and occupancy of the residence.
