Permitted Construction / Details:
Install the OWTS exactly as depicted in the LKP Engineering revised design dated August 17, 2019, stamped and
signed by Luiza K. Petrovska P.E. The system is designed to serve a two bedroom single family residence.
The OWTS consists of a 1,000 gallon three compartment Valley Precast septic tank with a 1,500 gallon total effective
volume (Item #1000T-3CP-F-D3), equipped with a dosing siphon in the third compartment, and and effluent filter in
the tee between the second and third compartment. Set the dosing float to pressure dose 181.80 gallons
approximately 92 feet to a soil treatment area consisting of two equal trenches each with 19 Infiltrator Quick4 Plus
Standard chambers set atop two feet of secondary sand filter media. Clear and rake trench sidewalls and bottoms to
prevent smearing, immediately prior to placement of aggregate sand. Construction must only be started when the
soil site is suitably dry. Maintain all elevations as shown of the engineer's site plan.
Contact the design engineer and Eagle County Environmental Health well in advance to conduct of requesting
inspections. All inspections necessary to certify proper installation must be performed by the design engineer.
System certification along with photos and a record drawing are required to be submitted to, and approved by,
Eagle County Environmental Health prior to the use of the system and occupancy of the residence.
THIS PERIMT EXPIRES BY TIME LIMITATION AND BECOMES NULL AND VOID IF THE WORK AUTHORIZED BY THE PERMIT IS NOT COMMENCED WITHIN 120 DAYS OF
ISSUANCE, OR BEFORE THE EXPIRATION OF AN ASSOCIATED BUILDING PERMIT

The Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) was designed and installed to serve the two
bedroom residence on the above property.
Additional information about the maintenance your septic system needs can be accessed through
our website links, provided on the Environmental Health Department’s septic system resource page.
Be aware that changes in the use of your property or alterations of your building may require
commensurate changes to, or relocation of, your septic system. Landscape features, trees with tap
roots, irrigation systems and parking areas above the soil treatment area can cause premature
system failure. It is equally important that you notice and immediately repair dripping faucets and
hissing toilets as this will certainly cause the system to fail.

trees. The site surrounding the leachfield was similar.
G The property is on Bellyache Ridge within
the Wolcott Springs Subdivision. The building site is about 4500 feet south
from Interstate 70 and Eagle River and about 800 feet above. It is also
about 2300 feet west from Travis Creek and about a mile west from the
Red Sky Ranch Golf Course. The area is mountainous with pine forest and
meadows.
