Permitted Construction / Details:
Alteration. This system is permitted for a 2000 gallon 2 compartment tank,with 78 Q4 infiltrator units in
trench configuration and serial distribution. The minimum leach field size is to be 1562.5 square feet.
Follow all setbacks including the setback for the leachfield that needs to be 100 ft away from the well.
Install at least one inspection portal in each trench. Do not install in wet weather nor snow. Rake the
bottom and sidewall of all trenches before installing the chambers. Do not backfill any portion of the
system without recieving the appropriate inspectons from Eagle -County Environmental Health Dept.

Please find enclosed OWTS permit, #6-08-1571 to conduct the construction exactly as specified on the permit. This permit
remains valid for 120 days or for the duration of a current building permit. The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the
installation site. Any changes in plans or specifications must be pre -approved by this department.
Also enclosed is a final inspection completeness check list to remind you of various inspection criteria to consider prior to
scheduling your final inspection. It is important to pay close attention to the special conditions which may have been
included to address site specific issues. All components of the system must be exposed for proper inspections. Projects that
require multiple inspections will be assessed a re -inspection fee of $55.00 payable before or at the time of inspection. It is
extremely important to remember to rake all infiltrative surfaces and avoid installing systems in wet or frozen ground.
If unfavorable conditions prevail between the installation and the final inspection (such as snow) special precautions must
be taken to protect the drain field area from the elements.
Please keep this office informed regarding the progress of your installation so we can provide responsive customer service -when
scheduling your final inspection. Building occupancy cannot be issued without the septic system being inspected and approved
for use.

1. All installations must comply with all requirements of the Eagle County Individual Sewage Disposal System
Regulations, adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104, C.R.S. 1973, as amended.
2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County zoning and building
requirements. Connection to or use with any dwelling or structure not approved by the zoning and building
departments shall automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both legal action and
revocation of the permit.
3. Section III, 3.21 requires any person who constructs, alters or installs an Individual Sewage Disposal System to
be licensed according to the regulations.

Dear Ms. Dever:
All loan inspections are completed under the authority of the
Eagle County Building Resolution, Section 3.08.03, B(7),.adopted
by the Eagle County Commissioners on October 8, 1985.
A review of the County records indicates that in August of 1988,
the sewage disposal system was permitted under Permit Number 845,
inspected and approved in accordance with Eagle County Individual
Sewage Disposal System Regulations. The system consists of a
1000 gallon septic tank and 300 square feet of absorption area
(through utilizing 100 lineal feet 'of 10" SB2 a graveless
disposal system). This, however, does not guarantee the
continued satisfactory performance of the system.
The water supply to this property is a private well. The water
is to be sampled by the property owner and sent to a State
Certified Laboratory for bacteriological analysis. A report of
this test should be provided by the property owner.
