Box 179 Eagle, CO 81631 Re: ISDS for Nuyten Residence, Lot 23, Aspen Mesa Estates #2, Eagle County HCE 'File Number 98004.10 Dear Janet: On May 4, 1998; High Country Engineering, Inc. personnel performed percolation testing at the site of the proposed Nuyten residence located on Lot 23 of the Aspen Mesa Estates #2 Subdivision. The rates for the three test holes varied widely, apparently due to the influence of fairly large rocks, however, we recommend that a rate of 50 minutes per inch be used for design purposes. The, profile consisted of a six to twelve inches of rocky topsoil, then approximately three to four feet of dark brown rocky; sandy silt, then a light tan colored rocky silt for the remainder of the depth. Box 179 Eagle, CO 81631 Re: ISDS for Nuyten Residence, Lot 23, Aspen Mesa Estates #2, Eagle County HCE File Number 98004.10 Dear Janet: On June 15, 1998, 1999 High Country Engineering personnel observed the construction of the ISDS for the Nuyten residence located on Lot 23 of the Aspen Mesa Estates #2 Subdivision, in Eagle County. All of the components of the system had been installed and minimal backfilling had taken place. The building foundation had not been installed so the Contractor was instructed to provide an as -built drawing for the location of the septic tank in relation to the foundation. HCE has since received the as -built, which is enclosed with this letter. Based on our inspection and the as -built received from the contractor, it is my opinion that the installation of the system was in conformance with the intent of the design.
