RESOLUTION
111 WHEREAS the growth of Eagle County has made the duties
of the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County more
complex and time consuming and,
WHEREAS the Board forsees that the continued growth of
the County will result in increased use of the Eagle County
Airport and an attendant increase in the time and attention
which must be devoted to the operation and management of
said airport and ;
WHEREAS Section 5-5-1 et seq. 1963 CRS as amended pro-
vides that the Board may, by resolution, create an airport
authority, separate and apart from the Board to manage the
• airport, subject to the supervision of the Board and;
WHEREAS the Board is desirous of forming such an authority
pursuant to said statute;
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that there is hereby created
an airport authority to be called officially the "Eagle County
Airport Authority".
BE IT further resolved that said authority be empowered
to exercise all powers to the extent and in the manner now
and hereafter provided by law with respect to the operation
and management of any and all airport facilities owned or
controlled by the County of Eagle and State of Colorado:

• BE IT further resolved that a certified copy of this
resolution be sent to the office of the Secretary of State
with a request that a certificate of incorporation be issued
as in such cases is made and provided by law.
