COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
RESOLUTION NO. 88 -E- 3
IN RE PETITIONS TO THE EAGLE COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, certain taxpayers have presented petitions of
appeal to the Board of Equalization concerning the County
Assessor's valuation decision for the year 1988, claiming
grounds for relief thereunder, stating the properties
described in such petitions were assessed too high, as more
specifically stated in said petitions; and
WHEREAS, the petitions appealing the Eagle County Asses-
sor's 1988 valuation which were submitted by the taxpayers
identified by schedule number in the attached "Recommend-
ations of Referee" or "Stipulations" came on for hearing
before the Referees duly appointed by the Board of Equaliza-
tion; and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered the proposed findings
and orders submitted by said Referees; and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered the evidence, testimony
and remonstrances and is now fully informed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO,
acting as the Board of Equalization:
1. THAT the Board adopts the proposed findings and
orders of the Referees as set forth in the attached exhibits
( "Recommendations of Referee" and "Stipulations ") which are
made a part hereof by this reference.
2. THAT, for each schedule number in which an
adjustment to the respective taxpayers' valuation is
indicated, the Board directs the Assessor to adjust the
assessment as set forth in the attached exhibits.

3. THAT, with regard to those exhibits attached hereto
in which a denial of the respective taxpayers' appeal to the
County Board of Equalization is indicated, the Board hereby
finds, determines and declares that the assessment and valua-
tion of the Eagle County Assessor with respect to the real
and /or personal property identified in said recommendations
of denial be and are affirmed.
4. THAT, notice as required by statute be given to the
taxpayer regarding each appeal and the decision of the Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any petitioner denied, in
whole or in part, by the Board of Equalization, be informed
of the right to appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals; or
to the Fifth Judicial District Court, Eagle County, Colorado;
or that the appeal can be submitted to arbitration pursuant
to the provisions of Section 39 -8- 108.5, C.R.S. Such appeal
or submission to arbitration shall be taken no later than
thirty days from this date.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, in
its capacity as the County Board of Equalization, at its
regular meeting held the 26th day of July, 1988.
