COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - 017
RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE EAGLE COUNTY ANIMAL
SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Eagle County provides animal sheltering and control services to maintain a
safe community,protect public health, deliver care to stray and unwanted animals in need, and
promote responsible pet ownership through outreach, education, and enforcement; and
WHEREAS,the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners(the "Board")has
recognized the value of greater understanding of the community's needs and expectations with
regard to animal sheltering and services and has sought a greater connection to those with a
passion for and knowledge of animal care; and
WHEREAS, on August 20, 2016,the Board established the Animal Services Advisory
Committee comprising of seven community members; and
WHEREAS, appointments of members to serve on the Animal Services Advisory
Committee are made by the Board and such members serve at the pleasure of the Board; and
WHEREAS,the Board wishes to identify and restate current appointments to the Animal
Services Advisory Committee and identify the term for each appointment.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT,the following individuals have been appointed to the Animal Services Advisory
Committee for the following terms:

Stephanie Braga-9/1/2026
Gigi Zimmerman-9/1/2026
Julie Helm Alt- 9/1/2025
Caroline Davis -9/1/2024
Evelyn Pinney-9/1/2024

THAT, appointees to the Advisory Committee serve as volunteers only,
recommendations of the Advisory Committee are advisory and any such recommendation shall
be presented to the Board by staff on a schedule to be determined by the Board of County
Commissioners;
THAT, appointments set forth herein do not constitute contractual obligations of the
Board or employment terms for, or any other type of employment contract of the appointee; the
Board in its sole discretion, may change, add, or abolish such appointments and designations,
and fill vacancies as it sees fit; and
THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the
citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
