Adding a bathroom to an existing septic system as they have proposed, will not necessitate any intervention by our department due to the fact that all plumbing connections are internal to the building. During our discussions with Mr. LaVenture, it was revealed that he proposes to extend a water line from the building to an outside greenhouse. It was noted that the water line may come close to the existing building sewer. As such, it is recommended that the water line be sleeved or encased where that water line comes within 10 feet of the sewer line. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
