Enclosed is your ISDS Permit No. 1239-93 valid for 120 days.
The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the
installation site. Any changes in plans or specifications
invalidates the permit unless otherwise approved. Please call
our office well in advance for the final inspection. The final
inspection is to be done before any portion of the installed
system is covered. The deadline for the final inspections done
by Eagle County Environmental Health is December 1. Systems
designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be certified
by the Engineer indicating that the system was installed as
specified. Eagle County does not perform final inspections on
engineer designed systems.
Be aware that the specifications on the permit are minimum
requirements only. Installers should bring this to the attention
of the property owner.
This permit does not indicate conformance with other Eagle
county requirements.

Re: Inspection of Septic System Installation
Lot 18, Highland Meadows Estates at Castle Peak Ranch
Eagle County, Colorado

Dear Mr. Koze:
At the request of Mr. Tim Olsen, on_July 19, 1993 we visited
the site of Lot 18, Highland Meadows Estates at Castle Peak Ranch,
Eagle County, Colorado to inspect the installation of the septic
system.
�Iday'-w- At the time of the inspection, the foundation for the garage
J with a studio was in place. The building sewer exited the building
on the south side, approxima ely 2 feet west from the southeast
corner.
The septic system was installed to the southwest of the garage
instead of the southeast as proposed on the drawing. The sol s
exposed in the trenches, where the Infiltrator chambers were
installed, consisted of light brown -tan to slightly reddish silt
with angular rock fragments.
The septic tank was installed at about 60 feet from the
southeast corner of the garage foundation, and consisted of a
precast concrete tank, 12 feet by 51811 by 51611 with two 2 feet
covers. The Infiltrator chambers were installed in four trenches
44-u�M with eleven infiltrators in each, connected with a high level
overflow distribution. All the pipes were SDR-35, 4-inch solid PVC
(ASTM 303.4). On the northwest end of each of the trenches, the
last Infiltrator chamber had a cleanout port installed on it.
