Additional specifications: All openings have been screened including the vent pipe. Structure affords complete privacy Earth and 10" gravel -mound around top of the vault and below floor level slopes downward away from structure base. Inside floor covered with ceramic tile; tile 4" high around base of inside walls. Seat and cover is easily cleanable, stained and varnished top of seat, metal lining inside seat and hinged, self closing toilet seat. Capacity of vault is 500 gallons. Walls inside are finished and washable. No odor. 4' x 8' outside dimensions of building As you know we have had difficulty getting things done and in meeting with you because of snow and mud and inaccessibility during large part of year. VAULT PRIVY A vault privy shall be built to include: 1) Fly -tight construction; 2) A superstructure affording complete privacy; 3) An earth mound around the top of the vault and below floor level which slopes downward away from the superstructure base; 4) A floor and riser of concrete or other impervious material; and 5) Seats and covers of easily cleanable, impervious material, hinged, self -closing and fly -proof.
