BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO, 91 -_f,
APPOINTING REFEREES FOR THE
1991 COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 39- 8- 102(2)(i)
C.R.S., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado, acting in its capacity as the Eagle County Board
of Equalization (hereinafter "Board "), has the authority to appoint
independent referees who are experienced in property valuation to
conduct hearings on behalf of the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of appointing referees to sit
for the 1991 assessment appeal hearings to make findings and submit
recommendations to the Board for its final action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, sitting
in its capacity as the Eagle County Board of Equalization:
THAT, the Board hereby appoints Edwin E. Schmale and Ken Bach
to sit as its referees for the 1991 session of the County Board of
Equalization.
THAT, said referees shall serve at the pleasure of the Board
and may be removed with or without good cause shown.
THAT, said referees shall avoid any appearance of impropriety,
and each shall disqualify himself if he has any close and /or direct
relationship with the matter being heard.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held the day of July, 1991.
