Home My WebLink AboutR91-097 Public Auction of personal property3 l Commissioner moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 91 -.�42 PUBLIC AUCTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 30 -11- 101- (1)(c) and (e) , and 30- 11- 107(1)(a) and (e) , respectively, C.R.S., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the "Board," is empowered to sell, convey, or exchange personal property owned by the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, and make such order respecting the same as may be deemed conducive to the interests of the inhabitants; and WHEREAS, the Board desires to sell certain personal property owned by the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, identified as the Road and Bridge 1977 Elder Modular Building, serial number #15360 -61, County Asset number #700198.01, formerly the Eagle County Road and Bridge Department's Administrative Office, see Attachment A for legal description and title, (hereinafter referred to as the "Property), for the reason that the intended purpose and use of the Property by the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, no longer exists; and WHEREAS, Steve Lama has the highest bid on the Property in the amount of $1,200.00 cash. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, the Board hereby authorizes the sale of the Property as identified to Steve Lama for $1,200.00 cash. THAT, the proceeds from the sale of the Property shall be deposited into the Eagle County General Fund. THAT, the Board does hereby authorize the Chairman to take all actions necessary to effectuate the transfer of property a l described herein, including but in no way limited to providing a notarized bill of sale. THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizenry of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
