The average percolation rate for the proposed leach field site is ten minutes per inch. This rate can be used by the Registered Professional Engineer who designs the sewage disposal system or the engineer can perform his own percolation test. State and County regulations prohibit the issuance of a building permit until an individual sewage disposal permit is granted by this office. Therefore, we are "holding" your building permit application until an acceptable engineer design and site plan is submitted. In addition, the "Final Plat" for Eby Creek Mesa requires certification from a registered professional engineer that the lowest habitable floor is 25 feet from the 100 year floodplain contour, as recommended in the drainage study.
