This inspection was part a broader review of the Gypsum Creek drainage for water pollution sources. Section 3.27 of the Eagle County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations prohibit cesspools and unlined pit privies. Your pre-existing, non -conforming system must be brought up to current standards of a two -compartment septic tank and the required square footage of absorption area. The enclosed application for an Individual Sewage Disposal System Permit must be submitted by the owner or owners represent- ative to this office within ten (10) days receipt of this motice. Upon receipt of the completed application and fees, a permit for installation of a septic system can be issued. Before covering any part of the new system a final inspection is required to insure compliance with Eagle County regulations.
