BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 91-
DESIGNATING CERTAIN DATES WHICH WILL BE CLOSED
FOR THE TRANSACTION OF COUNTY BUSINESS
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 30 -10 -109, the Board of County
Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado ( "the Board ") , is empowered
to establish the days and office hours during which County offices
shall be kept open for the transaction of County business; and
WHEREAS, the Board anticipates that the construction of the
new Eagle County Building will be substantially complete during the
week of June 17, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Board believes that the various County offices
and departments will be able to better serve the public by physically
moving their departments when County offices are not open for business;
and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the physical move will take
four days, which is planned for the period of June 21 through June 24,
1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, it will best serve the public to close the affected County
offices and departments on Friday, June 21, and Monday, June 24,
1991.
THAT, the following offices and departments shall be closed
for the transaction of business on Friday, June 21, and Monday,
June 24, 1991:
Accounting
Appraisers
Assessor
Attorney
Commissioners
Buildings & Grounds
Civil Defense
Clerk and Recorder
Community Service
County Manager
Engineering
Human Resources
Information Systems
Nursing Services
Public Trustee
Purchasing
Social Services
Community Development:
Building
Planning & Zoning
Environmental Health
THAT, the following departments will not be affected by the
move, and will be open for business as usual:
Airport Manager Landfill
Animal Control Library
Courts (County & District) Road and Bridge
Extension Office Sheriff
THAT, barring any unforeseen circumstances, all County offices
and departments shall reopen for business on Tuesday, June 25, 1991,
in the new Eagle County Building, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado.
THAT this resolution is in the best interest of the health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the County.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held they day of May, 1991.
