1. All .installation must comply with all requirements of the County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations,
adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104, CRS 1973 amended 25-1-614, CRS 1973
2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County Zoning and
building requirements. Connection to or use with any dwelling or structures not approved by the building
and Zoning office shall automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both
legal action and revocation of the permit.
3. Section III, 3.26 requires any person who constructs, alters, or installs an individual sewage disposal

Dear Holly:
All loan inspections are completed under the authority of the
Eagle County Building Resolution, Section 3.09.03-A(7), adopted
by the Eagle County Commissioners on October 8, 1985.
An onsite inspection of the sewage disposal system on November 24,
1986 revealed that the system appears to be functioning properly with
no apparent problems. This system was finalized on 12/02/80 under
ISDS Permit #450.
Potable water is supplied by the Bellyache Ridge Water District.
Enclosed is an invoice in the amount of $25.00, the fee for this
loan inspection.

All loan inspections are completed under the authority ofthe Eagle County Building Resolution, Section 3.08.03,(5),
adopted by the Eagle County Commissioners on January 1, 1997, amended December 10, 1997.
A review of Eagle County records indicates that the original septic system was permitted on 7/30/80, under
Individual Sewage Disposal System (ISDS) Permit 450. A final inspection was conducted on the system 9/2/80
in accordance with Eagle County Regulations and consists of one 1,500 gallon two compartment fiberglass septic
tank, and one 1,200 square foot leach field. This system is adequate to accommodate up to 5 bedrooms per the
entire duplex. In the event of failure it is the responsibility of both duplex owners to initiate repair.
Laura Fawcett and I performed a site visit at 0085 Little Dipper Road, on August 4, 1997, and we noted the
following conditions. The septic tank appeared to be functioning properly and we saw no evidence of leach field
failure at the time of our inspection. Obviously, this does not guarantee the continued satisfactory performance of
the system. However, it was noted that the tank openings were about four feet below grade, enclosed in wooden
pits, and covered by pieces of fiberglass which may not provide an airtight closure. Based on conversation with
Patrick Coyle, August 5, 1997, it is my understanding that appropriate measures are being taken to improve this
situation.
The water supply to this residence is from a community well system on Bellyache Ridge, with service provided by
the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District. The community water system is inspected on a regular basis by the
Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, Water Quality Control Division.
