Home My WebLink AboutR94-205 establishing public meeting days and office hours for 1995Commissioner moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 94 - c� ) 05 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REGULAR PUBLIC MEETING DAYS FOR THE EAGLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995 AND ESTABLISHING DAYS AND OFFICE HOURS FOR COUNTY OFFICES TO TRANSACT COUNTY BUSINESS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30 -10 -303, C.R.S., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado ( "Board ") desires to establish and publish a schedule of the Board's regular public meeting days for fiscal year 1995; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30 -10 -109, C.R.S., the Board further desires to establish the days and office hours of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, for fiscal year 1995, whereupon all County offices shall be kept open for the transaction of County business; and WHEREAS, the Board further desires to establish legal holidays for Fiscal Year 1995, during which all County offices shall be closed; and WHEREAS, the 1993 Personnel Policy, as amended, provides that the Board determine on a year -by -year basis the legal holidays for which County employees shall be paid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, the Board hereby designate and adopt those dates designated as holidays in the attached Exhibit A as County legal holidays for Fiscal Year 1995, whereupon all County offices shall be officially closed for the transaction of County business. THAT, the Board determine that said legal holidays be paid holidays for eligible Eagle County employees. THAT, except for said legal holidays, all County offices located in the County Seat of Eagle be kept open for the transaction of County business during the hours of 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday of each respective week in Fiscal Year 1995. THAT, the County maintains certain offices located outside of the County Seat for the convenience of the citizens and visitors to the County. These facilities shall be open for the transaction of business on a schedule approved by the County Manager and posted on the premises. THAT, the County Manager is hereby delegated the authority to close all or part of the offices of the County due to storm or other emergency. The County Manager shall use his best efforts to notify the media of such closure. THAT, notwithstanding the foregoing, all Clerks of the Court and the Sheriff be subject at all times to the command of the people, and shall at all hours, night and day, be prepared to attend such duties as may reasonably be required of them. THAT, the Board hereby establish and adopt the schedule of the Board's regular public meeting days for Fiscal Year 1995 as set forth in the attached Exhibit B . THAT, until further notice, such regular public meetings of the Board be held in the Eagle County Room, Eagle County Building, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado. THAT, the Board may hold such special or emergency meetings and adopt such publication procedure therefore as the public interest may, in the opinion of the Board, require. THAT, copies of Exhibits A and B be forthwith transmitted for publication to all newspapers of general circulation in the County of Eagle, Colorado, and appropriately posted at County government buildings throughout the County.
