1. All installation must comply with all requirements of the County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations,
adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104, CRS 1973 amended 25-1-614, CRS 1973
2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County Zoning and
building requirements. Connection to or use with any dwelling or structures not approved by the building
and Zoning office shall automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both
legal action and revocation of the permit.
3. Section III, 3.24 requires any person who constructs, alters, or installs an individual sewage disposal
system in a manner which involves a knowing and material variation from the terms or specifications con-
tained in the application of permit commits a Class I, Petty Offense ($500.00 fine - 6 months in jail or

An appropriate plat plan must accompany site inspection for this application showing required information. (See
attached sheet.) The individual sewage disposal system will be constructed and installed in accordance with the
regulations governing individual sewage systems within Eagle County, and shall comply with House Bill 1553 CRS
66-14, 1973. Payment shall be made to the Eagle County Treasurer. Permit, upon approval of this application, may be
obtained at the Eagle County sanitarian's office.
Appointment for final inspection must be made prior to construction by contacting the inspecting sanitarian. [Phone
328-7718 between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.] Refer to permit number. No approval will be given on any system without final
inspection.

I have attached a revised site plan showing the location of the septic tank and leach field as well as the driveway. I hope
this will be helpful. Please let me know if you need anything more.
Also, am I interpreting your information below correctly in anticipating a building permit on or about 7/7/17 or will there be
further approvals required that will take past that date? Thanks once again for your help.

Permit review status:
I'll be the assigned building plan case reviewer for your detached garage project. It's already signed off by planning staff
for zoning compliance. Environmental Health team would like to receive a confirmation from you where the proposed
detached garage is in proximity to the existing septic tank and leach field? Are you served by Bellyache community
water supply and a private septic system? If so, I understand the garage will be located NE of the existing home.
Where's your septic tank leach field in relation to the existing residential footprint and driveway? The utilities are not
shown on the submitted site plan, more written response regarding leach field / tank will aid the Environmental Health
Department with their sign off (e.g. they want to ensure no vehicular traffic or construction staging in that area).
Fng;;neering staff and Building staff reviews are not yet started. Based on case load ahead of yours, I expect to finish
.;hitectural and structural review by end of business July 7. Julie Pranger, Engineering Department case reviewer
returns on July 6. 1 will work with Julie upon her return and we will keep you abreast on the approximate release time for
the FIELD COPY.
