RE: Individual Sewage Disposal System Permit #2152R-01
Tax Parcel #2111-064-00-015. Property Location: 310 Eagle Street, Gypsum, CO.,
Richardson residence.
Enclosed is your ISDS Repair Permit #2152R-03, and a copy of the engineer, s design for this
system. The permit is valid for 120 days or for the duration of your current building permit for this
property. The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the installation site. Any changes in
plans or specifications invalidate the permit unless otherwise approved. Please note any
special requirements that may have been added to the design by this Department.
Systems that are designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be certified by the
engineer indicating that the system was installed as specified. Eagle County Environmental
Health must also view the installation prior to back filling. Please call well in advance for
your final inspection. Your TCO will not be issued until our office receives this certification
from the engineer and views the installation.
Due to the onset of inclement weather, all installations must be completed prior
to December 1, 2003 in order for Eagle County Environmental Health to
perform a final inspection. In the event that inclement weather interrupts your
installation, please cover the installed components with plastic sheeting so that
they are not covered with snow and are visible for the inspector. All field work
will resume, weather permitting, on March 15, 2004
Please note that our ISDS Permit specifications are typically minimum requirements only and
should be brought to the property owner's attention in case they may wish to install a system capable
of handling larger wastewater flows.
This permit does not indicate conformance with any other Eagle County requirements. Please
notify this office if you have not been contracted to perform this installation.

At the request of Ron Book, on November 1, 2004, we visited the construction site at 310
Eagle Street, Town of Gypsum, Eagle County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visit was to
observe, the installation of the septic system.
They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing
No. 03047SD.DWG, dated June 11, 2003. Jim Wilson had inspected the existing septic tank, and
Found it to be a 1 500-gallon, two compartments, fiberglass septic tank in a good working
condition. They installed a 300-gallon, round, polyurethane, pump tank, ta the pump tack, they
installed a Zoeller 264 pump. There was a cleanout between the existing septic tank and the new,
pump tank, as shown on the attached as built sketch. The effluent line was 3-inch diameter sch40
pvc. The purnp was set to have six doses with 75 gallons per dose. The dosing, the, floats function
and the alarms were tested at a later date and a letter will be submitted to us. The location of the
alarm will also be described in the letter.
Twenty, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in three trenches, with 11
infiltrators W the first trench, five in the second and four in the third, as shown on the attached
sketch. The, i)nfiltrators were connected with serial distribution. In the first and last infiltrator of
each trench, inspection ports were installed. Horizontal distance from center to center of the
trenches, was 9 feet or more. The depth of the trenches was no more than 36 inches, Also, in the
first trench, a perforated, 3-inch diameter, schedule 40 pvc was suspended from the top of the
infiltrators.
