Permitted Construction / Details:
Install as per All Service Septic project number 1707, design dated May 15, 2010. This design is adequate
for a maximum of 3 bedrooms. Installation is granted for a 1250 gallon two-compartment, precast
concrete tank with an effluent filter on the outlet. Due to the rocky/gravelly soils noted in the HP Geotech
soil report, a soil profile hole must be observed by the design engineer, prior to construction. Depending
on soil conditions noted by the engineer after observing a soil profile hole, a minimum of 6 inches of
screened on-site material or sand may be required to be placed in each trench to aid in effluent treatment.
The engineer must document his findings and what changes to the design are necessary, if any.
The leach field shall consist of 4 shallow trenches, with 15 chambers per trench for a total of 60 Quick 4
standard Infiltrator chambers. Please contact the design engineer and Eagle County Environmental
Health if you choose to install any other type chamber other than the Quick 4 standard Infiltrator
chamber.
Maintain all required setbacks. Do not install in wet or frozen conditions. Call Eagle County
Environmental Health (970) 328-8755, and the design engineer for a final inspection, prior to covering any
portion of the system. In order to receive final approval, the engineer must provide the final certification
letter which details the system installation including any soil amendment needed due to rocky/gravelly
conditions, photographs of the installation and as-built drawings of the system.

Jordan,
ALL SERVICE septic, LLC performed installation observations on September 22nd 2011 for the
subject property.
The installation included a 1250-gallon, two-compartment precast concrete septic tank with an
effluent filter on the outlet, followed by 593 square feet of drain field. The drain field consisted of 4
rows of 12 chambers, for a total of 48 gravelless ‘Bio-Difuser-ARC36’ chambers. Serial distribution
was used to distribute effluent throughout the drain field.
The OWS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of
workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes
are made to the OWS.
LIMITS:
The observations were based on our site visits and information submitted by client. If conditions are
different from conditions described in this letter, ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified. All
additional OWS construction must be according to the county regulations. The installer should have
documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which
they are working.

It was indicated by soils engineer that some large material may exist during excavation. Sparse large
material was encountered, and any that was, was removed. Existing sandy soils were placed in voids
where large material was encountered. Backfill material was appropriate, and was placed per
specifications.
The OWS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of

Onsite Wastewater System Design, Proposed 3-Bedroom Residence
Lot 39, Ruedi Shores
Eagle County, Colorado
ALL SERVICE septic,LLC evaluated the subsurface investigation prepared by HP Geo-tech and
prepared an onsite wastewater system (OWS)design for the subject residence. The property is located
in Ruedi Shores,Eagle County Colorado,in an area where OWS are necessary.Water is provided by
the local water District. This letter is to be used in conjunction with plans provided.
SITE CONDITIONS
A 3-bedroom residence is proposed as indicated. The property is vacant and slopes approximately
10% to the southwest. Vegetation consists of native grasses and sparse evergreen and aspen trees.
SUBSURFACE
The subsurface was investigated by HP Geo-tech by excavating one Profile Pit and three percolation
holes as indicated on attached plans.HP Geo-tech indicated the test has a 6-inch topsoil layer,
underlain by sandy with scattered rocks to the maximum depth explored of 8 feet.Groundwater or
bedrock was not encountered.Percolation rates ranged from 1 to 39 minutes per inch (MPI).An
LTAR of 0.6 will be used to design the OWS.
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
The OWS design is based on 3-bedrooms and an average sewage load of 450 GPD.The installation
must include a 1250-gallon,two-compartment,precast concrete septic tank, with the addition of an
effluent filter on the outlet.Tank alternatives may be considered.Four gravelless chamber trenches
must be installed as indicated.Four rows of 15 ‘Quick 4’chambers,for a total of 60 chambers, and
593 square feet (SF)of infiltrative area, are required.Serial distribution should be used to distribute
effluent.
Construction must be according to the county ISDS regulations, the septic permit provided by Eagle
County Environmental Health Department, and this design. This design for the subject property,
noted above, is valid only in conjunction with the approved County Health Department permit.

OPERATION INFORMATION AND MAINTENANCE
The surface of the drain field should be seeded upon completion.Vegetation is an important factor in
drain field performance.Erosion control should be practiced during and prior to re-vegetation.
Geo-fabrics or plastics should not be used over the drain field. No heavy equipment, machinery,or
materials should be placed on backfilled drain field.Livestock should not graze on the drain field.
Plumbing fixtures should be checked to ensure that no additional water is being discharged to OWS.
For Example,a running toilet or leaky faucet can discharge hundreds of gallons of water a day and
harm a drain field.
The homeowner should pump the septic tank every two years and clean the effluent filter as needed.
Garbage disposal use should be minimized, and non-biodegradable materials should not be placed
into the OWS.Grease should not be placed in household drains.Loading from a water softener
should not be discharged into the OWS.No hazardous wastes should be directed into the OWS.
Mechanical room drains should not discharge into the OWS.The OWS is engineered for domestic
waste only.
ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES
If design includes a pump, air release valves and weep holes should be installed to allow pump lines
to drain to minimize risk of freezing.Excavation equipment must not drive in excavation of drain
field due to the potential to compact soil.Extensions should be placed on all septic tank components
to allow access to them from existing grade.Precast concrete tanks and distribution boxes should be
used, unless plastic or fiberglass is required.Septic tank risers should extend to grade.Access to all
tank compartments and distribution devices is optimal.
INSTALLATION OBSERVATIONS
ALL SERVICE septic,LLC,and the county must view the OWS during construction. The OWS
observation should be performed before backfill, after placement of chambers and distribution pipes.
Septic tanks,distribution devices,pumps,dosing siphons,and other plumbing,as applicable,must
also be observed.ALL SERVICE septic,LLC should be notified 48 hours in advance to observe the
installation.
LIMITS:
The design is based on information submitted. If soil conditions encountered are different from
conditions described in report,ALL SERVICE septic,LLC should be notified. All OWS construction
must be according to the county regulations.Requirements not specified in this report must follow
county regulations. The installer should have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the
requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working.
