RESOLUTION NO. 95 - /�)
APPROVING THE APPLICATION
FOR HOTEL AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE
FOR
THE GAME CREEK CLUB
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County,
Colorado, sitting in its capacity as the Local Liquor Licensing
Authority ( "Board "), has reviewed the application for a Hotel and
Restaurant Liquor License ( "Application ") submitted.by Vail Food
Services, Inc. and The Game Creek Club (collectively, "Applicant ")
for the business known as The Game Creek Club, located in Game
Creek Bowl on Vail Ski Mountain ( "Club ");.and
WHEREAS, the Board is advised that the Club will be a private
restaurant club open only to members who pay a separate initiation
fee and dues and their guests, and possibly also occasionally to
the public for special functions and at such other times as may be
determined by Applicant; and
WHEREAS, the Board received testimony, together with letters,
petitions and remonstrances, presented at a public hearing held on
December 19, 1995, with respect to the Application; and
WHEREAS, the Board previously has determined that the
neighborhood relevant to the Application is the Town of Vail and
the area immediately to the west of the Town, an area running from
East Vail to Dowd Junction, in Eagle County, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered the reasonable needs and
requirements of the neighborhood for the type of license for which
application has been made; the desires of the adult inhabitants of
the neighborhood; the number, type, and availability of liquor
outlets located in or near the neighborhood under consideration;
all other reasonable restrictions which are or may be placed upon
the neighborhood by the Board; the moral character of the
Applicant; and the premises for which the license is sought.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
1. The Board finds:
a. The and posting of notice required by
the Colorado Liquor Code, CRS 12 -47 -136, announced that

the Club would be operated as a private restaurant club
open only to members pay a separate initiation fee
and dues and their guests, and possibly also occasionally
to the public for special functions and at such other
times as may be determined by Applicant;
b. The solicitation of the petitions and remonstrances
presented in respect of the Application announced that
the Club would be operated as a private restaurant club;
C. There is a need for a private restaurant club in the
neighborhood which is not met by existing licenses within
or nearby the neighborhood;
d. There is a desire for a private restaurant club by
the inhabitants of the neighborhood; and
e. Competition will not be impaired or restrained if
the Application is granted.
2. The Board approves the Application.

of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
