Doll - Old County Highwayq \3, RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the County of Eagle and State of Colorado was the owner of a county highway that trav- ersed the lands now onwed by John S. Fry and Charles H. Doll and the land that was formerly owned by Samuel Doll, and; 11THEREAS, it was thought advisable, both by John S. Fry and Charles H. Doll, that the old county road particularly through their land be straightened out, and; WHEREAS, the County had a proper survey made through the lands of John S. Fry and Charles H. Doll and a roadway laid out, built and improved, and; WHEREAS, the old highway that meandered around the foothills and above the barn and main dwellinp- n ,,Qo on what was xno "� ns the old Sam Doll Ranch became of no further use to the public generally and to the County of Earle as a county highway, and; 1NT.EREAS, John S. Fry and Charles H. Doll granted the new right of way in consideration of the County's abandonment of the old highway; BE IT RESOLVED, THEREFORE, That Eagle County do hereby abandon the old county highway that ran around the foolhills and above the main dwelling house and barn on what is known as the old ISam Doll Ranch on Gypsum Creek, Eagle County, Colorado, and that said highway and the right of way for said highway be and the same is hereby released to John S. Fry and Charles H. Doll and to their heirs and assigns forever. It being the intention hereby to convey to John S. Fry and Charles H. Doll any and all right and title that the County ever had or now has to the above mentioned old road or /county highway- Read, passed and approved this 3rd day of -1- -2- July, A. D. 1939.
