SURVEYORS NOTE
Railroad rights of way are based on best available maps and existing trades as they are on the ground at this time. I have rsaeandhsd at
the railroad museum in Golden, CDOT surveyor in Grand Junction, Eagle County momier's office, Union Pacific Railroad along with
other surveyors and legal descriptions available. What I have found is that in this area whore Heals Gale Road or Eagle County Road 55
is bated the railroad trades and right of way has been charged at a minirrhun of 2 times if not 3. Leo descriptions note old location
and how it moved from Mare and are very arrnbiguous to follow. The iniormhaMorh that has been laud has been amhbiguous at best
Highway rights of way have been mostly located by existing monuments es found and supported by Land Survey Plat recorded in the
Eck County Enginsering departments Land Survey Plat vault in Boole 1, Page 745 - 750 on record and recorded by CDOT. I visited
with Jade Memorger a Surveyor for CDOT out of Grand Junction and he stated west of Heals Gate road monurrentatbn of the high way
right of way for 1-70 was never place according to a map on record. I have tried to support the right of way location booed on where the
existing monuments ended and to deeds available Wong with field irdometion that ls available or has not been destroyed.
Caner 3 of Trod 45 was sat by using Grant boundary rnedhod. An existing re-bor with no cap was found 12.43 %st east of computed
comer at on existing fence comer while I would Ike to support the location of On re-bor I cannot support to location when the dosing
corner and comer 4 for this tract, when the distance a within a few %ns of a foot per GLO. I have rome. cl the monument records
and nothing has been tied. There for I have set this monument at On position show on the map and feel in the cared location.
Carers 3 6 4 of Tract 51 was not found. I have calculated using the Grant boundary method to perpstuate the locations on the nap.
Research and 3 search visits didn't turn Lip any additional information for original location.
Caner 6 of Tract 52 was not found. I reviewed the location per Land Survey plat filed by Johnson and Kunkle in Book 526, Page 458,
Reception No. 422621. They did not stale N they found the monument nor did they file a monument record. I visited the sits 2 fines and
could not find any evidence to perpetuate the original location. The corner was set using a Grant boundary method es shown on map.
Closing Carer just Vest of Caner 6 was bolted for and not found. No accessories were ever established for this comer. The comer
was not set
East Quarter Comer of Section 17 was labeled on to GLO Brass cap incorrectly. The way the cap ls shown is how it was located in the
hold. Monument record has been fllad and noted.
