Commissioner Ryan spoke about a Zero Emission Standards program. Chairman Chandler-Henry spoke about Public Alliance Day. Consent Agenda 1. Early Head Start 2019 Continuation Grant Application Kendra Kleinschmidt,Human Services 2. Approval of the Minutes of the Board of County Commissioner Meetings for July 31, August 7,August 14, 2018 Kathy Scriver,Clerk&Recorder's Office Commissioner Ryan moved to approve the Consent Agenda for September 25,2018, as presented. Commissioner McQueeney seconded the motion. The vote was declared unanimous. Constituent Input Chairman Chandler-Henry constituent input. Joanne Rock wondered about the 10%goal of electric vehicles and wondered if there were enough charging stations in the community to accommodate an increase. She also expressed her views about Public Lands Day and the logging industry. Chairman Chandler-Henry closed constituent input. Business Items 1. Resolution 2018-075 In Support Of Greater Eagle Fire Protection District Ballot Issue 6A Abby Musfeldt,County Manager's Office 1 09/25/2018 Executive Summary: This resolution is in support of Greater Eagle Fire Protection District Ballot Issue 6A. Kraige Kinney,Board of Director member, spoke about the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District Ballot Issue 6A, with al mill property tax increase.The last increase was in 2007. Their work load had significantly increased over the years as with the increase in growth there has been an increase in the call volume. Commissioner Ryan shared her thoughts and was prepared to vote yes. Commissioner McQueeney expressed her support. Chairman Chandler-Henry stated that Special Districts did not get sales tax and she supported his efforts. Commissioner McQueeney moved to approve the resolution supporting the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District Ballot Issue 6A. Commissioner Ryan seconded the motion. The vote was declared unanimous.
