This being a scheduled Public Hearing,the following items were presented to the Board of County
Commissioners for their consideration:
Commissioner Updates
Commissioner McQueeney shared that she was on an Early Childhood Leadership Commission and the
meeting this past week was interesting as they were preparing for the transition to a new Governor. She believed
that their priorities were in alignment with the early childhood work supported by Eagle County.
Commissioner Ryan thanked all the volunteers that helped with the KaBOOM playground build at the
Dotsero Mobile Home Park. WECMRD secured the grant from the Colorado Health Foundation and was able to
get some artificial turf donated. The County Road and Bridge Department also helped with the grading. She also
gave a shout out to the Public Health staff for leading the process.
Chairman Chandler-Henry wished everyone a Happy Fourth of July on behalf of Eagle County. She also
reminded everyone about the Stage II fire restrictions.
Consent Agenda
1. Memorandum of Understanding Between US Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management
Colorado River Valley Field Office and Eagle County ;
Diane Mauriello, Open Space
2. AFP-7489 Second Amended Final Plat-Creainery Raneh Lot 12

Commissioner Ryan moved to approve the Consent Agenda for July 3, 2018, as presented.
Commissioner McQueeney seconded the motion. The vote was declared unanimous.
Constituent Input
Chairman Chandler-Henry opened constituent input.
Joanne Rock shared her view on a couple books about space and commented on the number of objects and
satellites in orbit. She also spoke about a book about civil liberties.
Regina O'Brien, Eagle County Clerk and Recorder, spoke about the shift in the Motor Vehicle System. The
State of Colorado was upgrading the entire state's motor vehicle system. The new system would create better
online services for customers. Motor vehicle services would be unavailable from August 1St through the 5t''. The
online license plate renewal services would still be available. She asked that people be patient on the 6th when the
system became live.

1. Construction Services Agreement between Eagle County and Contract One for the Treasurer's Office
Remodel Project
Josh Miller, Project Management
Ms. Simonton spoke about the proposed remodel and the contractor chosen to do work. She believed the
remodel would make the office bigger and more functional.
Commissioner McQueeney moved to approve the construction services agreement between Eagle County
and Contract One for the Treasures Office remodel project.
Commissioner Ryan seconded the motion. The vote was declared unanimous.
