Constituent Input
Chairman Ryan opened constituent input.
Joanne Rock shared her thoughts on mental health,Martin Luther King Jr.Day, and housing.
Richard Ebancho.requested that the County Commissioners look into getting a Department of Motor
Vehicle office in Eagle. Forty years ago there were three offices in the county. Currently, the only way for a senior
to receive a license was to go to a DMV office in Glenwood Springs or Summit County. He believed it was
difficult for seniors to get through the canyon or over the pass.
Chairman Ryan agreed that the distance had its challenges. The DMV was a state office, and with the
budgetary issues of the state, they consolidated. She stated that she would look into it and provide an update to the
viewing audience.
