BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO 2016- 61-V
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENT OF
DEPUTY SURVEYORS FOR EAGLE COUNTY
WHEREAS, Colorado Revised Statute § 30-10-902 provides that the County
Surveyor may appoint as many deputies as he thinks proper, for whose official acts he shall be
responsible; and
WHEREAS, the County Surveyor has determined it is necessary to appoint deputy
surveyors to assist the County Surveyor with the review of all subdivision plats before they
are recorded by the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder to ensure proper form and content; and
WHEREAS, the County Surveyor has appointed Randall P. Kipp and Samuel Hoyt
Ecker as Deputy Surveyors of Eagle County; and
WHEREAS, Randall P. Kipp and Samuel Hoyt Ecker have agreed to accept the
appointment as Deputy Surveyors of Eagle County and have agreed to faithfully and
impartially discharge their duties as such deputies; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (the"Board") desires to confirm the appointments of such Deputy Surveyors and to set
the remuneration to be paid to the County Surveyor and to the Deputy Surveyors appointed herein
for their examination of all subdivision plats before they are recorded by the Eagle County Clerk
and Recorder.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Eagle County, Colorado,
THAT, the Board hereby confirms the appointment of Randall P. Kipp and Samuel Hoyt
Ecker as Deputy Surveyors of Eagle County, for whose official acts the County Surveyor shall be
responsible; and
THAT, the Board hereby sets the remuneration to be paid to the County Surveyor and to
the Deputy Surveyors appointed herein for their examination of all subdivision plats before they
are recorded by the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder in the amount set forth on Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated herein; and

THAT, the Board finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the
public health safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED,READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado at its regular meeting held the I-1 day of

Plat Check Fee Schedule

Final Plats for Subdivision or PUD $500 plus $40 per lot
Amended Final Plats $400
Exemption Plats $400
Minor Type A Subdivisions $400
Minor Type B Subdivisions $400
Minor Type B Subdivisions for Splitting Billable for time.
Condominiums, Townhomes, or Patio Homes
Maximum Hourly Rates:
Surveyor Technician: $80/hour
Professional Land Surveyor(P.L.S.):$1' 0/hour
The cost of the initial subdivision plat review is collected by the County as part of the Land Use
Application Fee. All subsequent plat check reviews (2nd, 3rd, etc.) are billable for time. Invoices
for subsequent plat check reviews must be received by the County within 15 days of review.
