SPECIAL MEETING

This being a scheduled Public Hearing, the following items were presented to the Board of County
Commissioners for their consideration:
Commissioner Runyon moved to adjourn as the Board of County Commissioners and re-convene as the
Eagle County Board of Equalization.
Chairman Pro-Tem Fisher seconded the motion. Of the two voting commissioners, the vote was declared
unanimous.
Resolution 2007-086 Petitions to the Eagle County Board of Equalization

Ms. Hooper stated that this was the last meeting of the board of equalization to adopt or hear the
recommendation of the hearing officers. The hearings are complete at this point and board has been provided with
exhibit A that lists the summary of all of the recommendations. There were 243 administrative denials in the last
round of hearings, 337 adjustments, 60 denials and 21 stipulations.
Chairman Pro- Tem Fisher wondered what happens next for those who have appealed.
Ms. Hooper stated that those who have appealed at this level have preserved their right to appeal to the next
level. The next option for anyone who has appealed would be to submit their case to binding arbitration, appeal to
the district court or appeal to the state board of assessment appeals within 30 days from the time their decisions
were mailed.
Commissioner Runyon moved to adopt resolution 2007-086; petitions of the Eagle County Board of
Equalization as presented.
Pro-Tem Fisher seconded the motion. Of the two voting commissioners, the vote was declared unanimous.
Commissioner Runyon moved to adjourn as the Eagle County Board of Equalization and re-convene as the
Board of County Commissioners.
