Home My WebLink AboutMinutes 04/21/97 BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EAGLE, COLORADO RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS FORM 50 HOECKEL'S 387869 PUBLIC HEARING APRIL 21,1997 Present: Johnnette Phillips James Johnson, Jr. James Hartmann Sara J, Fisher Chairman Commissioner County Administrator Clerk to the Board Absent: George "Bud" Gates Commissioner This being a scheduled Public Hearing the following items were presented to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration: Consent Calendar Chairman Phillips stated the first item on the agenda was the consent calendar as follows: A) Approval of bill paying for week of April 21, 1997, subject to review by County Administrator B) Approval of payroll for April 24, 1997, subject to review by County Administrator C) Approval of minutes of the Board of County Commissioner meeting, March 10 through March 31, 1997 D) Resolution 97-43, the matter of adopting the form and terms for agreement with Commercial Raft Operators as concerns the use of the Eagle County Fairgrounds and authorizing the Buildings and Grounds Manager to enter into such agreements on behalf of the County E) Resolution 97-37, concerning the appointment of Jim Nimon to the Eagle Cemetery District F) Resolution 97-38, and Power of Attorney conferring authority on Attorney's Office to draw on Letter of Credit for Warner Developments, Inc" LOC No. 956-1472, in the amount of $912,747,00, to expire April 23, 1997 G) Resolution 97-39, and Power of Attorney conferring authority on Attorney's Office to draw on Letter of Credit for Graham and Karen Reid, LOC No, 229, in the amount of $2,375,00, to expire April 24, 1997 H) Petition for exclusion of land, Eagle County Airport property form Eagle River Water and Sanitation District. Chairman Phillips questioned items F & G and if the Resolutions were ready, Jim Fritze, County Attorney, answered yes and stated no word has been received from either the developer or engineer. With regard item H, he requested this matter be continued for a period of one week. He stated there is a companion contract which has not been reviewed by the Attorney's Office. Commissioner Johnson stated corrections he had for item C, Commissioner minutes and submitted copies to the clerk for the changes, Commissioner Johnson moved to approve the consent calendar, with the exception of item H which will be tabled to next April 28, 1997, Chairman Phillips seconded the motion, Of the two voting Commissioners the vote was declared unanimous, Commissioner Gates was not present at this hearing, Final Settlement, Castle Rock Construction Co. Jim Elwood, Airport Manager, presented final settlement for Castle Rock Construction Company, furnishing and installation of improvements to the Eagle County Regional Airport, He stated this matter was advertised and related B & B Excavating has sent a letter indicating $34,070,51 still owed to them by Castle Rock. 1 .
