This being a scheduled Public Hearing the following items were presented
to the Board of Connty Commissioners for their consideration:
Board of Equalization
Mary Jo Berenato, Deputy County Attorney, presented Resolution 94-E-8,
regarding recommendations of denial from Ed Schmal ley, Eagle County Hearing
Officer.
Commissioner Johnson moved to approve Resolution 94-E-8 and Exhibit "A",
attached, regarding recommendation of denial from Ed Schmal ley, Eagle Connty
Hearing Officer.
commissioner Gates seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Mary Jo Berenato presented Resolution 94-E-9, regarding adjustments and
denials as recommended by Ed Schmalley, Eagle Connty Hearing Officer. She
stated the Arrowhead parcel is a reduction from $7,649,260.00 to $861,560.00.
Mark Chapin, Appraiser, stated the reason for the adjustment was a
computer generated error. He informed the Board Eagle Connty does not have
any property valued at $172,000.00 per acre.
Chairman Phillips asked if these stipulations are included in the
Certification of Abstract.
Mr. Chapin stated these changes are prior to the Certification of
Abstract.
Commissioner Gates asked if there were other properties needing looked
at.
Mr. Chapin stated there were no other properties like this one that he
is aware of.
commissioner Gates moved to approve Resolution 94-E-9, includin;J Exhibit
"A", denials and adjustments as recommended by the Eagle Connty Hearlng
Officer.
Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Commissioner Gates moved to adjourn as the Board of Equalization and
reconvene as the Board of County Commissioners.
Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The vote was declared
unanimous.
Bob Loeffler, Ass't. County Attorney, presented Estoppel Certificate and
Consent for the Vail Beaver Creek Jet Center. He stated the Jet Center has
requested the certificate be signed. Mr. Loeffler related the terms have
been negotiated and all parties are in agreement. He stated the applicant
was to provide a signature certificate and copies of the loan documents which
have not been received.

comrrdssioner Johnson moved to table the Estoppel Certificate and Consent
for Vail Beaver Creek Jet Center, to allow the applicant time to submit the
required documentation.
comrrdssioner Gates seconded the motion. The vote was declared
nnanimous .
There being no further business to be brought before the Board the
meeting was adjourned nntil August 15, 1994.
