COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - /-//
RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING
APRIL 22, 1997
A DAY FOR CHILDREN
WHEREAS, April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and
the week of April 20th as the Week of the Young Child,and
WHEREAS, children are the most important resource we have for
the present and future of Eagle County; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Eagle County have joined hands to
share in the nurturing, education, care and protection of the
children of Eagle County through individual, group and agency
endeavor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board of County Commissioners does hereby designate
April 21, 1997 as a Day for Children within the County of Eagle and
enjoin the citizens of Eagle County to share in the celebration of
the future of our children.
THAT, the Board of County Commissioners hereby finds,
determines and declares that this resolution is necessary for the
health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Eagle County.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held the &C(mCg day of �t Q 1 1997.
