BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION No.2015- Oe 0
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE EAGLE COUNTY STRATEGIC PLAN
WHEREAS, the Eagle County Board of Commissioners (hereinafter the
"Board"), with the assistance of other County officials and County staff, engaged in a
process to develop a Strategic Plan to define and refine a vision, mission, core values,
goals, objectives, and specific priority action items; and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan vision provides value-based principles that
describe a preferred future; and
WHEREAS,the Strategic Plan mission "creating a better Eagle County for all"
includes principles that define the responsibility of county government; and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan core values identify and clarify expectations for
employees; and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan goals and objectives focus on outcomes and guide
action plans; and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan action agenda identifies priority policy decisions,
management actions and projects for the next year.
NOW, THEREFORE,be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT, the Board hereby adopts the Eagle County Strategic Plan (Exhibit A), which
outlines a long-term vision, targeted mission, core organizational values, outcome-based goals
and objectives, and an action agenda for policy decisions, management actions and projects.
THAT, the Strategic Plan is a working document, and the Board, having the
authority, in its sole discretion, may change the Strategic Plan from time to time.
MOVED,READ and ADOPTED by the Board of County commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 6th day of October,
2015.
