BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - V ot)
RESOLUTION CONCERNING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS,Resolution No. 96-22 created the Eagle County Regional Transportation
Authority("ECO") and provided for its duties and powers; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-22 appointed the various members to the ECO Board;
and
WHEREAS, the ECO bylaws provide that vacancies on the Board be approved by the
Eagle County Board of County Commissioners (the"Board"); and
WHEREAS, the Town of Minturn has nominated Jason Osborne as a regular member. A
copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Minturn has nominated George Brodin as an alternate
member. A copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT,Jason Oborne be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional
Transportation Authority as a regular member for the Town of Minturn. Said term to expire on
February 28, 2018.
THAT, George Brodin be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional
Transportation Authority as an alternate member for the Town of Minturn. Said term to expire on
February 28, 2018.
THAT, the foregoing appointment and designation does not constitute an obligation of
the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally bound for the
respective term of appointment as specified herein above, the County,by and through the Board,
having the authority in its sole discretion to change, add or abolish such appointment and
designation and to fill vacancies as it sees fit.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
MOVED,READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the (t day of -0 r . ,
