Box 1666 i- ✓ Edwards, CO, 81632 i u October 13,20014 Commissioners Fisher, Ryan and Chandler Henry: I understand that I need to correspond with you concerning my willingness to continue serving on the Eagle Cemetery Board. The board has approached me about my interest and I am most interested in serving in this capacity. My term is up this fall and I would appreciate your consideration of approving me to serve in this way.. . Although Eby Creek Mesa, where I live,is not officially in the town of Eagle, I feel attached to the town and it's citizens through business, community service and social activities. Through my work with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and being Eagle County Veteran Service Officer,I have facilitated, performed and attended many veterans burials at the Eagle Cemetery and have coordinated flag placement on Memorial Day and Veterans Day for a number of years. I am also working with 2 historians and a boyscout troop to document veteran grave sites and properly mark them in all the cemeteries in Eagle County. I hope you will understand my interest in forever honoring those who have served our country and in keeping alive the memories of those who have gone before us. I would be honored if you would appoint me to continue serving on this meaningful board. Sincerely yours, Patricia J. Hammon j_._ f` - v cc. The Eagle Cemetery Board EXHIBIT a d l AI 2
